I have used REN Skincare for nearly fifteen years, the Glow Tonic was my first ever purchase and I still use it now so I'm always excited when some new arrives and this is certainly something to get excited about.
Launching at the beginning of 2023, the product contains an instantly smoothing and plumping bio-ferment essence proven to boost the benefits of skincare and help strengthen the skin barrier.

It's powered by a synergetic trio of postbiotic bio-ferments and potent antioxidants, this simple, yet transformative step elevates the optimisation and the absorption of the products you use on top of it.
A bio-fermented Microbial Extract instantly plumps skin with hydration, boosts brightness and reduces the signs of redness while Bio-Fermented Hyaluronic Acid from wheat and Polyglutamic Acid from sugar cane help to reinforce the skin barrier and smooth skin texture. Marrubium Extract helps to protect against pollutants and Niacinamide helps to brighten and even skin tone.

There are a few different ways to use it as recommended by REN Skincare alongside some other products from the brand:
AM/PM: Apply 3 drops into your hands and gently pat onto a freshly cleansed face and neck.
AM: Gently pat Perfect Canvas Smooth, Prep & Plump Essence onto face and neck until absorbed. Then, apply Glow And Protect Serum, followed by Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream and allow it to absorb. Finally, pat 2-3 drops of Perfect Canvas Clean Primer onto the face.
PM: Work Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser into dry skin, splash on some water and rinse off with lukewarm water and gently pat skin dry. Then, soak a reusable cotton pad with the Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic and sweep across a freshly cleansed face and neck, avoiding the lips and eye contour. Next, gently pat Perfect Canvas Smooth, Prep & Plump Essence onto face and neck until absorbed. Finally, apply Bio Retinoid™ Youth Serum, followed by Overnight Glow Dark Spot Sleeping Cream and allow it to absorb.
The product has had some excellent reviews so far with 100% showing instantly plumper skin as well as it being proven to strengthen the skin barrier, help against pollution, aid hydration and proven to boost the benefits of skincare and optimise skincare absorption.
Personally, I love it - I use it morning and night and have really noticed my eye area looking subtly more plumped. Some may see it as a pointless extra skincare step but the essence will be sticking around in my routine for the time being.
