At the end of July, Clarins released a twist on their much loved Supra mascara and having used it for the last month I thought it was high time I gave you the lowdown!
If you've been around these parts for a while, you'll know I've used Clarins Supra for years - it is one of my go-to mascaras and never lets me down so I was intrigued by the Supra Lift & Curl which is a totally new innovation from the French skincare brand.
The Clarins Supra Lift & Curl Mascara (£23.00) is the latest from a line-up of fabulous new products from Clarins - taking makeup and skincare innovation to the next level, Supra Lift & Curl contains a new formula infused with skincare benefits.
Clarins Laboratories were inspired by nature to develop two-ingredient complexes that combine effective lash care with make-up results to enable a new product that gives unstoppable lash-lifting benefits helping to create a more "open eye" area while boosting the strength of your natural lashes.
The result? Lashes that are more defined, curled and lifted with enhanced volume!
The new plant-enriched mascara has an intense, water-resistant black mineral pigment that delivers long-lasting colour, as well as being boosted by bitter orange flower wax, known for its filmogenic, structuring and lifting properties, which coats the lashes in a super lightweight texture to gently curl and lengthen lashes in an easy one-step application.
This nourishing and protective formula is dispensed on an expertly designed curved brush made from soft, dense fibres that hug the natural curve of each lash. The brush also has a unique hollow core for delivering just the right amount of formula upon application and a rounded tip that coats every lash from the inner to the outer meaning a smoother application with no clumps.
Honestly - I wasn't sure I liked this at first but with a quick wipe of the wand, a second dip in the tube and a steadier application I really liked the results.
Supra has always been my second step mascara after using a trusty separator and this really lengthened my lashes, opened up my eyes and delivered an intense black to my lashes that I don't think I achieve with any other mascara - it's a real joy to use!
I've used it most days throughout August and even my husband noticed a difference which is saying something - a sign of a good product, I think so.
The Clarins Supra Lift & Curl Mascara (£23.00) is available online or at Clarins counters - definitely one to add to the beauty shopping list!
