The Lush Cosmetics Easter Collection 2021

(Features press samples - see disclaimer)

I love the first few months of a new year because we get new collection after new collection from Lush Cosmetics, which means any excuse for an extravagant bath! Seasonal collections at Lush Cosmetics are my favourite launches, I feel as though I use more from them than the permanent lines because I just want to try it all.

With the scent of the Mother's Day collection still in the air, this year's Easter collection landed and it's a good'un. I haven't been overly wowed the last few seasons but this year's collection has more than made up for it and I already have a couple that I'll be sad to see go.

From bath bombs and bath melts to soaps and body butters, you're bound to fall for something.

I mean it's Lush, why wouldn't you?!

First up and the one that stole my giddy little heart is Eggy Weggy (£4.95) - a deliciously minty, sweet bath bomb adorned with little fried eggs. It's super pink and has the most beautiful strong scent that is just heavenly thanks to the Sicilian Lemon Oil and Spearmint Oil. It's a really fun bath bomb and as it swirls into the bath the eggy pattern transforms into vibrant bath art!

The scent reminds me a little of the Christmas Polar Bear!

Flamingo Egg (£4.95) is bright, colourful and perfect for Easter. Release into the water and watch it swirl releasing a fruity scent as it dissolves into deep purple waters. It contains Vetivert Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil and Sea Salt giving it its sweet scent which I really enjoyed. My skin felt super soft after using this but it did seem to slightly stain too so just bear that in mind when using it.

Next up are two oh so perfect products for an alternative egg hunt if you want to change things up this Easter weekend! Bunny Buttercheeks (£7.50) is a fab gift option for children and one I know our son will love. The cute pink bunny houses two butterballs meaning bath time will be a calming and moisturising affair for you or your little ones.

How cute is the gift card that holds the bath bombs? The bunny is made from 100% recycled board so once you're down with it holding your bathbombs, you can cut it into an eye mask for some fun or pop in the recycling.

Follow The White Rabbit (£3.50) is a treat for the senses and bursting with Sicilian Lemon Oil and Bergamot Oil - my fave! The adorable rabbit whizzes around the bath leaving a gorgeous pastel rainbow in its wake. It smells just like lemon sherbet and gives such a fresh fizz to bath time!

How fun is The Owl & The Pussycat (£5.95)?! The gorgeous pea-green boat is ready to set sail in your bath along with two friends that each come out of the boat so you can use them separately or all together. I adore how inventive Lush Cosmetics are with their products and this one in particular really did put a smile on my face when I pulled it out of the box.

Containing Pea Husk Powder, Agar Agar, Gardenia Extract and Carrageenan Extract the bath bomb has a delicious vanilla scent with a hint of strawberry - it's quite Snow Fairy-esque which I was surprised at, I assumed with the mix of blues, yellows and greens it would smell fresher but the surprising scent works so well.

It's such great value too!

Next, we have Golden Egg, an Easter classic! Golden Egg (£4.95) has been knocking around for years and boy is it loved. It's one I've used a number of times and it always leaves my skin feeling so incredible, thanks to its lashings of Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter although this years is a little different and to be honest, not that great. There doesn't seem to be as much cocoa butter as in previous years and the pink middle totally threw me off - hoping next year we're back to our old favourite.

If you love Honey I Washed the Kids then you'll adore Humpty Dumpty (£6.50) because once you crack him open, that is the scent that envelops you! Filled with Bergamot Oil and Brazilian Orange Oil, it's the perfect addition to any bath and it is HUGE! If you're savvy about how you crumble your bath bombs, you'll easily get a few baths out of ol' Humpty plus there's a cracking surprise inside!

The last product in my Easter haul is Walter Bunny (£8.00) who unfortunately had a run-in with our son who bit his nose off because he thought it was chocolate as we were unboxing. Walter Bunny is actually a body butter and the natural chocolate exfoliator is perfect for using in the shower on wet skin to add in some moisture. Containing Murumuru Butter, Cocoa Powder and Vanilla Absolute, it really does smell good enough to eat. It has a beautiful soft shimmer on the outside and the scent lingers on the skin, it's a fab product to really treat the skin as we come out of winter, just don't munch on it!

The Lush Cosmetics Easter Collection is available now for delivery and click & collect in certain stores. What has taken your fancy the most?
