When it comes to skincare, I find the body often gets forgotten - there's so much talk about what we're putting on our faces but when it comes to our bodies no one seems to recommend much so when ARK Skincare dropped in my inbox with details of their Body Beautiful collections my ears pricked up.
The ARK Skincare range is a small collection of indulgent body products formulated for the body and mind, created with innovative formulas and natural ingredients for beautiful, healthy skin. As with all of ARK's products, they are made in Britain as well as being cruelty-free and vegan.
The collection isn't huge but I did want to put a spotlight on two of those products that I've been using myself in recent weeks.
If spa-like body products are your jam then this body serum will be for you - beautifully silky with the most gorgeous scent that leaves skin hydrated and glowing. The treatment serum features Abyssinian Oil, Olive Oil, Sacha Inchi Oil and Sweet Almond Oil, known for their intensive moisturising properties and bein rich in nourishing Omegas 3, 6 and 9.
I was really surprised at the texture of this - the oil is unbelievably silky yet upon contact with skin it melts in leaving it oh so soft, it's not sticky or greasy either! My skin feels smooth, hydrated and it smells fabulous - I can't get enough of the scent. I just wish it came in a bigger size!
Hand creams are as vital as antibacterial gel right now, the pair go hand in hand and this particular cream from ARK Skincare has been seeing me through the best part of six months. The rich and nourishing hand and nail cream is super creamy and contains raspberry and cocoa butter to intensely hydrate skin.
The formula aims to soothe dry and irritated hands, helping to protect against moisture loss. My pet hate with hand creams is if they're greasy or don't absorb well but thankfully this does so easily. It has really kept my hands in brilliant condition when they've needed it most and it smells beautiful too,.
ARK Skincare is such a brilliant brand, it's one you could fall in love with quite quickly. I'd love to see the Body Beautiful range expanded with a body exfoliant and a body wash as what I've tried so far I've loved - will have to keep my eyes open to anything new!
