NEW in my Beauty Stash

(Features press samples - see disclaimer)

Do you know what lockdown was good for? Testing beauty products.

Apart from a few pesky monthly spots, my skin has never looked so good and it's been so nice - I've really been able to test some fab new products as well as some makeup products and so I'm going to show you exactly what's landed in my hands recently!

Featuring products from Pixi, Sanctuary Spa, Upcircle and SKN-RG - there's a little bit of everything.

SKN-RG
I hadn't heard of SKN-RG until recently but the Lumiere Moisturiser (£39.50) piqued my interest especially after it recently won an award! SKN-RG use the latest innovative eco-technology to give radiance to the skin and the blue light defence moisturiser is designed to prevent damaging blue light emitted through everyday technology.

Combining Stem Cells derived from Superfood Chia Seed that deliver incredible protein bolstering elements, Gold Chelate Extract that lifts the skin, Potent Vitamin C Arctic Cloudberry and Alpine Willow Herb to smooth and limit pore size - it's incredible.

SKN-RG advises use to be morning or night, I personally prefer to use it in the morning after a brightening serum as it just gives such a glowing finish to the skin. It melts into the skin, has a soft, creamy texture and there's no tackiness - it's a really great moisturiser.

Pixi Beauty
I'm a huge fan of Pixi - I've tried a lot of their products over the years, some I've loved and some I've hated so the Summer Glow parcel that arrived was a nice surprise. There were four products inside the kit including the Pixi Summer Glow Palette (£18.00), Pixi Large Lash Mascara (£14.00), Pixi Endless Shade Stick (£12.00) and the Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights (£15.00)

The Pixi Summer Glow Palette is beautiful - it features nine multi-use shades in warm-toned powders that help to highlight and enhance features. There's a mix of matte and shimmery finishes that help to add the perfect glow to skin. I'm a big fan of the shades Sunkissed and Midsummer!

The Pixi Large Lash Mascara is great for adding volume. The formula contains Vitamin E and Panthenol to help strengthen and nourish lashes while the intense colour gives a wow factor. It does say that it's water-resistant and smudge-proof but I haven't found that to be true and I almost never wear waterproof mascara and this performs worse than those. I'm hoping that is just because it has been quite hot recently - maybe it'll work better in the colder months.

The Endless Shade Sticks and Liquid Fairy Lights are gorgeous products if you love a pop of shimmer on eyes but personally, they're not for me. I'm going to put them in a giveaway soon so keep an eye out.

Sanctuary Spa
Known for their fabulous gift sets and beautiful bath products - Sanctuary Spa has taken a step into sanitizer and I couldn't be more grateful at the moment.

Life right now goes a little like this - bag, keys, phone, mask and hand sanitizer so having an extra supply from Sanctuary Spa arrived at the perfect time. The hand bundle includes everything you need right now such as Antibacterial Hand Gel (£4.00), Antibacterial Hand Gel Spray (£5.00) and Hand Cream (£6.00)

Each of the products come with Sanctuary Spa's signature scent so there's no ghastly alcohol smell and I've really loved using them. The spray is so handy!

Upcircle Beauty
I've used a few products from Upcircle in the past and I've had my eye on the Face Scrub Citrus Blend (£12.99) for some time.  The brand is very recycle, re-use and re-purpose which I love and this particular scrub is made using repurposed coffee grounds.

It's a super invigorating scrub and perfect for awakening the skin in the morning -  naturally caffeinated skincare is the secret to increasing blood flow, brightening the skin and flooding it with antioxidant protection and boy is this good plus it smells incredible!

You can purchase Upcircle Beauty direct from Persephone Beauty plus you can get 15% off using the code ALICE15!

Let me know if any products catch your eye - I'd love to know which ones!
