The New & Improved Nutri-Define Collection from Jurlique

(Features press samples - see disclaimer)

Jurlique is one of my skincare true loves and a brand I've used religiously over the years, so much so friends and family now use a number of their products too.

A few months ago I had the new and improved Nutri-Define Skincare Collection land on my beauty shelf and over the last few months, I've been giving it a good going over so I could share my thoughts with you. It's the most advanced anti-ageing range available from Jurlique and it's one you're going to want on your radar as it promises to rejuvenate, brighten and firm the skin and I'm pleased to say it does just that!

If you haven't heard of Jurlique I'll give you a little backstory. The brand is created by husband and wife team, Dr Jürgen Klein, a biochemist, and his wife Ulrike, a botanist, they had always been passionate believers in the healing power of nature. Their vision was to create a pure and natural skincare range combining the ancient arts of alchemy, herbal medicine and homoeopathy to reconnect people to nature. They began their search for the purest place on earth and after searching the world, they discovered the unspoiled Adelaide Hills in South Australia.

Today, Jurlique products are sold in more than 19 countries around the world. And their most iconic natural ingredients are still grown in the Adelaide Hills where Jurlique first began.

Now... Let me fill you in on the Nutri-Define Collection...

The Jurlique Nutri-Define range contains six products and I've been using three of them - the serum, eye cream and light cream. I also had a smaller sample of the rich cream in a beauty box so I gave that a little go but that one is a bit too rich for me.

The two key ingredients within the Nutri-Define range are Spilanthes Flower and Horseradish Root extract which are both rich in naturally rejuvenating properties. They're grown at the Jurlique farm with the Spilanthes which has been scientifically proven to increase collagen production, only being picked on days when the moon passes through the Air and Light signs of Libra, Gemini and Aquarius; these stages of the moon cycle favour development of the flowers substance and colour making it the optimal time to harvest - how incredible is that?!

Spilanthes Flower and Horseradish Root is also combined with the Jurlique signature blend of Rose, Marshmallow, Calendula and Lavender - my favourite combination.

This oh so beautiful eye balm is a rich, highly concentrated anti-ageing balm that visibly improves the appearance of deep lines, crow's feet and dark circles around the eye area. It's an absolute dream to apply and through the potency of their exclusive botanical extracts I mentioned above, the balm helps to target signs of skin ageing around the eye area for visibly improved skin.

The texture is super light, it almost feels bouncy to touch and it absorbs into the skin beautifully.

I've really noticed a reduction in puffiness and my eye area feels so much more hydrated. I would, however, prefer it in the same pump bottle as the serum as it just makes it a bit cleaner.

There are two versions of the face cream - light and rich; personally, I prefer the lighter version having tried the rich cream and just found it a little too much for me. Don't let the light cream fool you though because it is still deeply hydrating, absorbs quickly and does a brilliant job of restoring natural luminosity.

Powered by active youth-restoring botanicals and Biosome6 technology it quickly hydrates and reduces the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles to leave skin looking noticeably firmer, smoother, and radiantly youthful.

It's a really lovely cream and perfect for those warmer mornings - my skin feels beautifully plump and so much brighter which is exactly what I need when I have to wake up at 5am every morning with a toddler.

Ahh... Serums - oh how I love them! This particular one is a little gem and it slotted into my morning skincare routine very easily. It has a light gel-like texture which melts into skin - it has a really nice consistency and I've loved using it in the morning followed by the light cream.

The silky, smooth serum contains the potency of Spilanthes Flower, Horseradish Root and Snowflake extracts which help to reduce the appearance of all signs of ageing. It features Jurlique's advanced Biosome6 Technology delivery system delivering active ingredients direct to the skin to enhance barrier function and deliver radiant skin that glows.

The Nutri-Define range is brilliant, I've been so impressed - my skin looks firmer, smoother and those pesky little lines that are starting to appear around my eyes definitely look diminished. I was expecting big things, the range isn't easy on the bank account and I'm so glad I haven't been left disappointed. Investing in your skincare as you get older is so important and the Nutri-Define range is definitely one I can put my trust into.
