When it comes to Summer fragrance I like mine to be fresh with a touch of citrus and discovering Kierin totally touched the spot with me. Kierin is a new discovery for me, the fragrance house brings a bold collection of perfumes to the table completely challenging the rules of traditional fragrance.
Unlike conventional fragrance brands, Kierin invites people to be inspired, not defined or confined, by fragrance. They're artistic, genderless and individualistic. Diversity and inclusion are core to the brand and not just presented as an afterthought - a brand for young people of all ages, race and nationalities.
Kierin NYC Sunday Brunch (£65.00 50ml) inspires a celebratory mood, helping to make memories of a life well-lived. The unique blend creates a fragrance that is citrusy, fresh and luminous making it the ideal fragrance to spritz on pulse points during the summer months.
The natural spray is completely different from anything I've ever smelled before. The blend features Italian bergamot, lemon and earl grey tea. It's not overdone nor does it smell like a body wash or soap. It's not floral or musky but something truly unique.
So many fragrances smell so similar it's hard to distinguish them, but Sunday Brunch seems to set itself apart as both unique and memorable. The fragrance lasts from the time you put it on until it is washed off. Any article of clothing this fragrance touches tends to retain a small but detectable amount of the fragrance after the first washing.
This is a really nice scent to wear for both casual and work settings, day or evening. It isn't an offensive scent by any means as long as you don't bathe in it. But that goes for most fragrances. If someone can smell you outside of your personal space, you're wearing way too much.
This is a fun scent to start out, and as it dries down it becomes much more relaxed but never boring.
It's definitely in my top ten favourites of all time.
In my Latest in Beauty box for June, I've ordered a three-piece sample set from Kierin so I'm really intrigued to see what the other fragrances are like.
