Five Lipsticks from Lipstick Queen for the Festive Season

When it comes to lipsticks during the festive season, I'm pretty set in my ways with a classic red but after falling more for Lipstick Queen this year I've branched out this December.

Lipstick Queen is known for breaking beauty barriers, leading the way with bright lips, unbeatable colours and incredible formulas to boot. The textures are soft, the formulas moisturising and the colours can transform a look with just one swipe so I've selected five shades that are perfect for those oh so special days during the festive seasons.

I feel like a gorgeous nude is fail-safe for Christmas Eve, whether you're shopping for last minute gifts, grabbing a festive lunch with friends or spending the evening sipping mulled wine - a nude lip will see you from morning to night. Nude Sinner is part of the Sinner 90 Percent Pigment range, featuring an intensely creamy formula that hydrates lips helping them stay smooth and moisturised. It's a darker nude than most but it gives a gorgeous colour to lips and it's free of gluten, sulphates, phthalates and fragrance-free.

The perfect red is such a classic for Christmas Day and Lipstick Queen have come up with a good'un. Saint Red is sheer, subtle coverage which keeps lips beautifully moisturised with a pop of colour that will still look as good by the time the Queen's speech rolls around. It's great if you're like me and still want a red but a bit more light for the big day.

Pink Sinner is also part of the Sinner 90 Percent Pigment range. Much like Nude Sinner above, the formula is creamy and has incredible lasting power. I love the glossy finish which is saying something as I'm usually a matte girl!

I love getting dressed up on New Year's Eve, grabbing my favourite heels and a new lippy especially as it's my birthday so Saint Rose was calling my name! It's another sheer shade so it's specially designed to flatter what you already have. The lipstick is formulated with rubber pigment instead of powder, so it works to make lips more resilient and helps to prevent drying, giving them long-lasting colour and sensual appeal. It's perfect for partying past midnight.

We sometimes head out for lunch on New Year's Day so bringing out Blooming Blush is ideal for that. The Nothing But The Nudes collection features some killer shades in a rich texture that deliver the perfect amount of pigment to lips. It's formulated with natural oils, waxes and vitamin E to help nourish and hydrate lips. It's universally flattering, comfortable to wear and stays put through a New Year's Day full English - tried and tested!

You can shop Lipstick Queen at Space NK in-store and online. They have some really brilliant ranges, I've just shared a snippet of what they sell and what I think will impress.

I reckon Nothing But The Nudes will popular with everyone!
