Tis the season of beauty advent calendars and I can't get enough of them. I've been following along with Chloe's beauty advent calendar unboxing videos recently so when Latest in Beauty's advent calendar arrived I did a little squeal of excitement! 24 Days of LiBmas features a whole host of fabulous products including Aromatherapy Associates, Sanctuary Spa and many more.
Latest in Beauty 24 Days of LiBmas launched yesterday and retails at £65 or £58 for subscribers. The contents is worth a massive £274 and having seen what's behind each door, you'd be mad to miss out.
If you're here reading this then I'm going to assume you're dying to know what's inside but don't worry I won't tell you which door features what product so there's still that element of surprise. If you're not then look away now because there are some serious spoilers up ahead!
As mentioned, the advent calendar is worth £274 and features some of my go to beauty brands as well as some I've been wanting to try for ages. You all know I'm a fan of a subscription box so something like a beauty advent is my ideal way of discovering more, any excuse!
The advent calendar is huge but as it's designed to open like a book, it's easy to store on top of a wardrobe or chest of drawers if you need to. It's adorned with colourful presents and ribbons so it's super cute and the perfect design for Christmas.
There are twenty four doors to open with twelve of the products being full size so let's have a little run through in no particular order shall we?
Show Beauty create the most beautiful hair care products with Premiere Finishing Hairspray being one of my favourite products of theirs. The Decadence Hair Fragrance is within the calendar and promises party ready hair in a quick spritz. With notes of coconut, almond, vanilla and patchouli, it's a beautifully unique fragrance that'll have you swishing back and forth. Next up is Juliette Has a Gun with the gorgeous Not a Perfume parfum. It's a clean, fresh fragrance and one I liked at first spritz. It's made from just Cetalox and has a musk undertone. It's pretty special which doesn't bode well for me because I would totally buy the full size bottle if it wasn't so £££.
The Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Bath Oil is the one you need for tired muscles. It's my favourite oil from the collection with Deep Relax coming a close second. The blend of essential oils helps calm and relieve tired muscles and it's the ideal treat after a night in the winter chill. The Balancing Ecosoy Candle by 58 Lifestyle would be the perfect addition to your relaxing bath too and it smells delish.
Coming in with a touch of shimmer is Eye Foil in the shade Faded by Lottie London. The iridescent duo-chrome eyeshadow is the perfect tool for adding a little sparkle to your eye look. Start with a matte shadow blend then add this on top for flawless looking eyes. Pair with Avon True Colour Glimmerstick Liner and your party look is complete.
Grow Gorgeous know a thing or two about hair products and the Intense Thickening Multi-Mask is THE treatment to help bring your hair back to life. The unique multi-mask leaves hair softer, healthier and more manageable which means when you come to use the Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Blowdry Primer you'll have locks to be envious of. The product helps prep hair as well as protecting against heat protects. It also helps reduce blow dry time by 40%!
Kohl Kreatives is a brush brand I've used for a while, I use the Ei8ht brush daily so was so happy to see the Circle Brush behind one of those little doors. The brush helps to blend, contour and highlight and is especially good for adding concealer where you need it most. You'll find a full size tube of Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk behind one of the doors which if you're anything like me, will crave a little glow in the dark evenings of December.
It's smells incredible too!
The Sukin Pink Clay Facial Masque is the gift of radiant skin thanks to its blend of pink and red clays which help deliver a clearing complexion. Sanctuary Spa are a brilliant high street skincare brand and I use their Body Butter daily which is what you'll find behind door number... ah not gonna tell you! It's a luscious blend of buttery goodness that will have you ordering the full size tub before you're half way through.
When it comes to silky looking party legs, Dr Organic's Shea butter Wonder Oil is your best pal. The oil is an indulgent blend of shea butter to help nourish skin, nails and hair. It smells bloody fab and if you ever fancy trying anything else from the range, the body lotion is lush too.
Brow Define by HD Brows is one of their most popular products so finding this behind a door was a treat. I'm yet to try this but the all rounder promises to define, blend and shape to perfection.
Classic Sally Henson makes an appearance with the Miracle Gel Duo Pack in Dig Fig. The pack features a stunning red as well as the gel top coat to give you a chip resistant, gel like nails fit for Christmas.
Next up we have a little treat from Temple Spa in the shape of their Multi Effect Serum - Complex Treatment & Eye Patches. The set helps de-puff, de-bag, tighten and recharge your entire eye area which is something I will definitely need come December. Sticking on a repair theme, the Balance Me Vitamin C Repair Serum is a dose of brightness we'll all need when those dark mornings get too much. It helps brighten and firm your complexion, completely awakening your skin.
Moroccanoil Protect & Prevent Spray is a product I swear by in the summer months but one I don't tend to use all that much in the winter. I find the sun really gets to my hair so this leave in conditioner is ideal for bringing it back to life. It helps that it smells like a summer holiday too.
Oryza Beauty is a brand I haven't come across before which another reason why I love beauty advent calendars because you discover new brands to fall in love with. The Velvet Ribbon Lipstick in Japonica is the softest, most hydrating lipstick I've used in ages and the colour is absolutely beautiful. It's a bit red, a bit burnt orange and bit nude and it looks incredible on the lip, I may have just found my new Autumn shade!
If you like to keep your lip shade more subtle during the day then the Dr.PawPaw Multipurpose Soothing Balm in Hot Pink will be your jam. The balms are a soothing blend of papaya fruit, aloe vera and olive oil and the multi-use product can be used for so much. I always keep the original balm in my bag as it works for nails, lips, split ends and so much more.
One of my alllll time favourite Molton Brown fragrances features behind one of the little doors. The bath and shower gel in Jasmine & Sun Rose is a beautiful concoction of rich floral and fruity scents. The gel lathers really well so you won't need much and the scent lingers for hours.
Skin Laundry have included one of their Hydrating Sheet Masks to give skin a pop of hydration between present wrapping and drinking egg nog while the Monuskin Firming Fiji Facial Oil is the perfect companion for cleansed skin before applying your mask for a relaxing five minutes.
The final product within the calendar is by Ayumi Naturals. The Turmeric & Bergamot Face Scrub adds a zing to your skincare routine leaving you with the most lusciously smooth skin. Don't be put off by the Turmeric, it smells so good!
