Three Fresh Fragrances to try this Spring

If you've followed me on Instagram for some time then you'll know I have quite a large fragrance collection. I adore the intricate scents, beautiful bottles and the way a fragrance can take you back to a memory so I wanted to share three of my favourite fragrances that I've been reaching for this Spring.

Each one is fresh, light and airy but with an unmistakable scent that will have you spritzing time and time again.

First up is a new release from L'Occitane, Herbae par L'Occitane eau de parfum (£60.00). As soon as I read the description to this I knew that it would be my kinda thing. Described as a remarkable green, fresh floral fragrance of wild grasses mingling with explosive notes of bramble, wild rose and white nettle, it's beautifully refreshing and airy. Don't let how light it feels put you off though, this lasts for hours and keeps going. I'm a big fan of the bottle too, it's curved, understated and the touch of crepe gives it a nice finish. It's a great scent and one I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of.

Top notes: Ambrette Seed, Vert de Bergamot Essence, Pink Peppercorn
Heart notes: White Nettle Flower Accord, Wild Rose Accord, Bramble Accord, Clary Sage Essence
Base notes: Wild Grass, Captive Musk, Cashmeran

The next fragrance is from Molton Brown, I have a number of their scents but this is what I pull out when the sun starts to shine as it reminds me of being by the sea. Molton Brown's Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel (£69.00) fragrance comes in 50ml or 100ml, the smaller bottles are great for your bag as the size is perfect.

It's quite masculine, unisex is probably the better word for it but it's just a beautiful. You get a feel for each note as the hours go on with subtle waves of bergamot at each turn. This would be my everyday holiday scent time and time again.

Top notes: Fig Leaves, Cardamom and Bergamot
Heart notes: Marine Notes, Jasmine and Violet Leaf
Base notes: Salted Cypress, Cedarwood and Musks

The final fragrance is from Roger & Gallet and one I'm not sure many would like but I had to feature it as it works so well with the other two. Feuille de Figuier (£35.00) is described as a fragrant well-being water spray so not quite a perfume but it does work just as well as one.  It's inspired by the vibrant and aromatic leaves of the fig tree and the notes of ceder and benzoin give it a warm feeling, fig can be quite an acquired taste but this works really well thanks to the added neroli.

Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Galbanum, Green Lemon
Heart Notes: Fig Leaves Accord, Neroli Essence, Petitgrain Essence
Base Notes: Cedar, Benzoin

Which one would you choose from the three?
