Ah, it has been a long time coming for me to finally own this beauty. The Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette is a cult classic and my hubby-to-be bought me the gorgeous little thing for my birthday. I've been using it straight for two months and I don't think I've fallen for a palette this hard in ages. I've had the rest of the palettes sitting in my online basket ever since because I am seriously impressed. Hello Too Faced convert!
The Chocolate Bar palette contains a mix of 16 natural browns, soft pinks and rich plums infused with their chocolate-scented, 100% cocoa powder formula. Never has a makeup palette smelt THIS GOOD. Known for its packaging, the palette comes in a pretty pink and gold box where inside you'll find the beautiful, chocolate case that perfectly resembles a chocolate bar.
As you open the palette, you'll find a mirror and each of the beautiful shades, with the shades names engraved above. The two lightest shades, White Chocolate and Champagne Truffle have larger pans which makes me love this palette more because, the shades will very obviously be most peoples most used and the ones you hit pan on first. I WISH more brands did this as I have so many palettes with the lightest shades already empty.
The entire palette is extremely wearable, I usually find there's one or two shades I wouldn't use but I adore each and every one in the Chocolate Bar palette. You can easily create subtle day looks before adding more glamour with the more sultry shades for a quick day to night look. My go to shades at the moment are Marzipan, Hazelnut and Semi-Sweet or White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Haute Chocolate. I've even used the pink shade, Strawberry Bon Bon which is very unlike me.

I was really impressed with the formula, there's some fall out but no where near what I was expecting after reading some comments. Each of the shades are incredibly soft and easy to apply although White Chocolate is the only one I find slightly chalky but there hasn't stopped me using it daily, I just blend, blend, blend. The formula is just a really fab, buttery soft texture, one I find very easy to work with. The pigmentation is incredible too and the shimmer shades are some of my favourites, they just make my eyes pop as the colours hit the light. I really don't have a bad word to say about it at all.
The Chocolate Bar palette is loved by so many and I can totally see why, I just don't know why I waited this long to find out. You can already see how loved Marzipan is and I'm already freaking out about hitting pan, I need that shade as a single pan shadow immediately.
Now my biggest decision is which Too Faced product to try next?
