Joanie Girl

The thing that was on my mind a lot during my pregnancy was how my body was going to change. It was inevitable but that doesn't mean I was ever ready for it. I was a stone heavier when I fell pregnant and carrying Joshua changed everything. Am I happy with my post-partum body? No, but pulling on this blue, petal dress from Joanie Clothing was the first time I looked in the mirror and thought, yea I look alright.

Joanie Clothing was created in 2015, inspired by their designer’s Great Aunt, Joanie; a glamorous woman who tapped and twirled her way through the fifties and sixties. The vintage inspired clothes are fun, quirky and beautifully made. As well as the dress, I ordered a cardigan, jumper and a t-shirt, all of which I've worn non-stop! I find the fit to be the best I've found in years. As I tried each thing on I kept saying to Arran how much I love each piece.

The new collection of dresses and t-shirts are gorgeous, I have the longest wish list and I'll be filling my spring/summer wardrobe with their beautiful dresses. Have you shopped at Jonie before?
