Be Present, Not Perfect March Birchbox

Do we still love monthly subscription boxes? From what I'm seeing on social media, the love is slowly ending. The same brands are repeated, sometimes the same products, there's nothing new or original and they're starting to become a bit drab or at least that's the impression I'm getting. I've ordered various boxes over the years but always come back to one, Birchbox and the March Birchbox might just sway you back to loving them again.

I can honestly say that I am so impressed with this months box and I've been so eager to try each and every sample including that much talked about release from Benefit Cosmetics. Before we get into the samples, lemme talk to you a little more about the March Birchbox. This month, they're focusing on the importance of me time and looking after number one and with every box sold this month, a donation is being made to Mind, a mental health charity.

To help you sit back and really enjoy this months box there are a handful of samples to keep your skin looking great, your hair shining and your lashes luscious. There's also a sneak peek at what you can expect from the April Birchbox and a discount code. Birchbox are really spoiling us this month.

First up are some skin treats to help you look your best. The Glamglow Supermud mask is LOVED by so many and The Clearing Mask Treatment is what I discovered in my box. It's my first time trying this mask and boy is it a good'un. The blend of activated charcoal and six acids help clean skin and unclog pores revealing gorgeous skin! The tube is a good enough size to get a months worth of weekly masks before really committing to a full size pot too.

Second on the skincare front is the Blaq Hydrogel Eye Mask. I have seen these alllll over Instagram so couldn't wait to try them. The eye mask also contains activated charcoal to help de-puff congested under eyes and I can confirm, it did the trick. Considering I have a teething four month old and these worked, that is saying A LOT. Can I order a hundred of these please?

Nuxe Reve De Miel Body Scrub is your little helping of body care this month. I'm a Soap & Glory girl usually but this was very close to taking the top spot thanks to the sweet fragrance and skin loving oils. I've ordered the full size already. The hair treat this month is by Oribe, the Apres Beach Wave and Shine spray smells incredible and I found even on my long, thick hair, it gave the most subtle of waves. I like it but not enough to spend £36 on it. I'm gonna stick to Lee Stafford.

The last item is THAT Benefit release. BADgal Bang Volumising mascara is a re-brand of the original bad girl and I'm undecided. Did it lift my lashes? Yes. Did it deliver volume? No. I found the formula a bit too wet and I didn't get the results I was expecting so it looks like I'm still a Roller Lash kinda gal. All hail Birchbox for including it in this month's box so I could try before I buy.

I am loving the March Birchbox, I've used everything, loved almost everything and already bought a full size product. Now let's hope the April box is just as good.
