Birchbox X Matthew Williamson

Just like that we are on our final Birchbox of the year! The December Birchbox is in collaboration with Matthew Williamson and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I've been a huge fan of Matthew Williamson since my teens, his beautifully colourful clothes and exotic prints lured me in to buying my first designer bag and I haven't looked back since. A spot of luxury in December seema fitting so here is what you can find in this months Birchbox.

Adorned with red roses and exotic animals, The Birchbox X Matthew Williamson is a treat for eyes. The theme for December is Life's Little Treasures and I think the print on the box which is inspired by Matthew Williamson's Treasure Garden collection represents this perfectly. It's one I'm going to be keeping hold of for sometime, it's just so beautiful. December is all about treating yourself and so Birchbox have set you up with the tools to do just that with this months samples. There are also two full sized items in this month's box because as Birchbox say, we're worth it!

Firstly is a Clarifying Shampoo by Kebelo which gives hair a super clean wash and helps with any build up that may have stuck around unknowingly. I'd love to say I've tried this but somehow it's found its way onto Arran's side of the bath tub with his products. Talking of bath time, there is also a foaming shower gel from Rituals. The foaming shower gels are some of my favourite products by Rituals and Ayurveda is no exception, it smells so luxurious. A little goes a long way and they leave skin feeling so soft.

Next up is the Kale Fix Moisturiser from Nip & Fab. I haven't used anything from Nip & Fab for years but this little tube has swayed me to look at the brand again. The moisturiser is incredibly comforting and left my skin feeling so happy and soothed.

One of the full sized items this month is one of the LOC Matte Lipsticks in Color Me Confident, a stunning red. Thanks to its butter soft formula, it applies beautifully and settles down to a gorgeous matte that doesn't feel at all drying. I have lots of these lipsticks and they're some of my most used. Lastly, is the B04 Angled Blender Brush from Spectrum Collections. I LOVE Spectrum Collection brushes and I also love that they regularly collaborate with Birchbox meaning I try different brushes I wouldn't normally order. They're some of the softest and best brushes on the market today and you'd be crazy not to try them for yourself!

So there we have it, the final box of the year. As always, there's been some amazing boxes and a couple that were a bit drab but that's the fun of a subscription box right? Never knowing what you might discover. I can't wait to see what Birchbox do next year!
