Jo Malone London Fragrance Collection

It's been a while since I bought anything from Jo Malone London, I associate their products with special events or occasions so it's not something I will just go and buy. I like that there is a memory behind each fragrance I own including the candles I have in our home. We have a boutique in Southampton so I usually book in for a hand and arm massage consultation as I find being able to experience the scents and chat to the stylists a much better way to discover what I'm looking for.

I recently had a consultation to find a baby scent. I wanted something that I could wear, that would always remind me of the time of my first pregnancy and giving birth to our first child. I didn't know what I wanted, so I was quite open to different scents and knew it would probably be something I wouldn't usually pick as my senses are all over the place. I've done this for our engagement and will also do the same when it comes to our wedding fragrances too. Here is what I own so far...

English Pear & Freesia
This is my most recent purchase and my baby scent. I've never even looked twice at this before, thinking it was too light and fruity for me but I was so wrong. I fell in love with its crisp scent almost instantly and as this was inspired by apple orchards and the turn of Autumn it seems so fitting that this would be the scent of our Autumn baby. With pear top notes, heart notes of freesia and base notes of patchouli it really is the essence of Autumn and one I can't stop wearing.

Mimosa & Cardamom

This was my very first fragrance from Jo Malone and one I'll repurchase forever. This reminds me of Christmas with Arran, long winter walks and hot chocolates, nothing massively special other than it's one of my favourite things to do with my favourite guy. Plus, first fragrance is pretty special right?! The top note of this is cardamom with heart notes of mimosa and base notes of tonka bean. It's a very warming scent and I always feel an extra bit sassy when wearing it.

Wood Sage & Sea Salt
There is a limited edition perfume by Moschino that was released in 2005 that is identical to Wood Sage & Sea Salt. It's the Moschino fragrance I first smelt in duty free the day we moved to Spain and it's one that I've always tried to get hold of again but with no luck thanks to it being limited edition. So you can imagine the memories that came flooding back when I first smelt this Jo Malone scent and I just had to have it. It's fresh and light with top notes of Ambrette Seeds, heart notes of Sea Salt and base notes of Sage which transport me straight back to evenings in the med. The scent holds so many special moments and I'm so glad I found something similar that can open these up for me.

Have you tried anything from Jo Malone before? What scent is your favourite?
