Inside Our Nursery

I'm so excited to finally share all the bits and pieces in our nursery, I say our nursery, it's actually our very large bedroom but with not moving until next year we made the most of the space we had. So here you have it, all the little pieces, toys, furniture and decorative bits we've included for Splodge.

I've worked with Amara a number of times so when they got in touch wanting to provide some decorative pieces, I couldn't resist. I fell in love with the Dream Big, Little One frame (£15.00) and thought it would fit our neutral bedroom perfectly. I say neutral lightly as I couldn't not give the Crochet Penguin (£35.00) designed by Anne-Claire Petit a new home too. How perfect is he?

We've been gifted some beautiful pieces from friends too, the Born in 2017 frame was a gift from Emilie while his rattle we've nicknamed Coachella Bear was a gift from Brogan. We bought the bunny slippers ourselves a week or so before our very first scan as I fell in love with them. They're totally not practical but who cares? I love them and also want a pair for myself.

For his sleeping arrangements, we have the White Snuzpod Bedside Crib (£199.95) along with the Cloud9 bedding. They've just released even more bedding and I'm going to be ordering the Wave Mono set next. The bedding feels like such good quality and washed really well on its first wash too. We've also have a Sleepyhead Deluxe+ Pod (£120.00) which I've heard rave reviews about. This fits perfectly inside the Snuzpod and we also have the toy arch and accessories to double it up as a play pod.

We've been pretty good on the cuddly toy front so far, we have Errol the Elephant which came inside the Eve Babybox, Ollie the Owl (£34.99) which was a gift from The Gro Company and a Penguin Pillow I bought from Me & Buddy after I found them on Instagram. There are a few more cuddly toys on my nursing chair foot rest too. Maybe we have gone more overboard than I realised? Oops!

You may have already seen our fabulous changing table which was provided from Cosatto. The Easi Peasi Changing Table (£144.95) comes equipped with a comfortable mat, lots of storage space and a hidden bath! It was exactly what we needed with limited space. We also have the Korbell Nappy Bin (£29.99) available from Cheeky Rascals. The hands free, step function will be great for when trying to keep a baby still.

Lastly, is my nursing chair. I kept looking at this on the Mothercare website but as it was quite pricey I didn't order it. A friend then put her identical one up for sale and that's how I ended up with my dream nursing chair! It's so comfy, has storage pockets, rocks and has a foot stool which is cuddly toy island at the moment. The cushion I've put on it is from Eliza Rose Shop and is helping my sore back at the moment.

I'm so happy with all the little details we've added, now we just need our little baby to complete it!
