In the beauty world, discovering gimmicks is becoming the norm. I've lost count of how many I've bought into in the past, now I tend to put my sensible head on before parting with cash but occasionally something comes along that kinda just works. The Ciaté Dewy Stix is a new and innovative product which could change the way we highlight, especially in the warmer months.
Ciaté are renowned for their beautiful nail polishes and fun shade names so I was eager to discover their recently launched makeup range. This Spring will see a whole range of beauty products launching such as lip colours, liners, mascaras and contouring products as well as the highlighting Dewy Stix.
The Ciaté Dewy Stix, a luminous glow highlighting balm launched yesterday, retailing at £20. The highlighting stick helps create a dewy skin complexion, perfect for those light spring days. Dewy Stix is formulated without heavy shimmer or pearls meaning the unique gel-like balm creates the youthful radiance you no longer have to dream of. The gel-like formula dries down to a non-tacky texture and leaves behind a beautiful skin finish that looks incredibly natural and pretty.
Simply glide sparingly over cheekbones, collarbones, cupid's bow and anywhere else the light naturally hits your face for the ultimate, no makeup, makeup look or create a 'your skin but better' effect by skipping the foundation and sweeping over cheekbones and let your freckles do the talking.
It's a handy little product set in beautiful, pink metallic packaging that is small and compact enough for your makeup bag at home or when travelling. The price puts me off a little as you're paying £20 for an inch worth of product but I can see myself using this regularly, so I'll gloss over that. See what I did there?!
What are your thoughts on Dexy Stix? Yay or Nay?
