Three Moisturisers Worth the Splurge

I'm a moisturiser collector which isn't always a good thing. I get to try out lots of different moisturisers for the purpose of this blog, some I love, some I hate but because I always have a mountain as back up, I don't always repurchase my favourites. I decided earlier on this year that I'd scale it back and only use what I really want to and I have found some skincare gems. As I've hit my late twenties, my skin cries out for different creams and I have three I think are worth the splurge.

I have been a long standing user of Merumaya products and trust their skincare completely. The Melting Cleansing Balm is one of my favourite, ever products so when the Youth Preservation Moisturiser arrived I couldn't wait to turn back the years. The Youth Preservation Moisturiser is a rich but non greasy cream which helps provide intense moisturisation and protection, helping to leave skin plump and dewy. It also helps with elasticity and fine lines giving you a smoother complexion. I find with products like this, it takes a good 4 - 6 weeks to really start seeing the benefits but when you do, you really notice the difference in your skin. This is a must have for anyone hitting their mid twenties.

This moisturiser from Manuka Doctor is the newest cream to my cabinet and comes from the Drops of Crystal range. The range comprises of a three step routine using premium ingredients to leave skin feeling supple, nourished and divinely restored. It also smells incredibly luxurious. The silky, soft cream helps skin feel firmer and more radiant. The age defying formula also reduces, fine lines and wrinkles by 28 days making it a great cream to iron out your face to leave it soft and plump. I've also been using the serum from the range which smells just as good and is a favourite of Kourtney Kardashian.

The Lab Room Botanical Face Cream €44.00
The final face cream is one I used up before the summer but it's one I had to include. I discovered this through Audrey Style which is a website filled with beauty products you wouldn't usually find. The Lab Room Botanical face cream is a unisex moisturiser which has a light and smooth texture making it great to use in the morning or in heat as it absorbs quickly. The cream hydrates the skin while balancing and repairing the epidermis and thanks to the properties rich oils such as Macadamia it regenerates the skin and the appearance of wrinkles. Another anti ageing busting remedy!

What are your favourite moisturisers to splurge on?
