Using makeup brushes have completely revolutionised the way I apply my makeup and I own quite the collection now. Gone are the days of applying my foundation with my fingers because we all did that at one point. I've recently discovered So Eco, a company that makes brushes from recycled and sustainable materials that are compostable, recyclable and bio-degradable.
The handle of the brushes are made from bamboo, the packaging from FSC approved managed forests, the window from corn starch and the brush is held together with water based adhesives and printed using vegetable ink so if you're looking for an eco friendly brush company you couldn't find much better than So Eco.
The So Eco Stippling Brush is set with a bamboo handle, rose gold hardware and the softest bristles which are hand cut and trimmed. The handle also boosts a precision comfort grip which makes it really comfortable to hold while applying either liquid or powder foundation or blush.
I've been using the stippling brush with liquid foundation and it collects just the right amount of product to give my skin a flawless finish. I also use this with the LancĂ´me Cushion Blush Subtil as again it distributes the right amount of product. This is the only brush I've tried from So Eco so far but I need to add some more to the collection as they're such a beautiful brushes.
Plus if I didn't already mention they're cruelty free, vegetarian and vegan friendly. What's not to love?
