It's not often I'll curl my own hair, I usually head into GHD in Southampton and get it done for me to save me time and the anguish of messing it up but I have discovered the perfect little tool to help me over come how crap I am at curling my hair. Disclaimer - the end result is the best I've been able to do in years and I'm bloody proud of it.
The Lee Stafford Chopstick Styler is a funny looking tool with a handle in Lee Stafford's legendary pink colour. It helps create crazy corkscrew curls with the ceramic coated barrel and high heat up temperature. It also has a safety stand attached which is fab for me as I'm so clumsy and a swivel cord that makes it even easier to reach any hard spots.
I started by sectioning my hair and using the Lee Stafford Heat Protection Shine Mist* which smells divine. I then started using the Chopstick Curler once it was heated up and started to curl. It was really easy to use and I only burnt myself once which is a miracle in itself. After curling each section of my hair I also used the Lee Stafford Double Blow Mousse* which smells just as good as the shine mist. This held the curls perfectly without making my hair feel crisp or dry which is one of the main reasons I would rarely use mousse.
It probably took me longer than most to curl all of my hair considering my hair is only mid length but I still found it extremely easy and quick to do. The Chopstick Stylers retail at £19.99 so they're really inexpensive and a great idea for Christmas too.
Have you tried the Chopstick Styler before? What did you think?
