As I said in my Clarins Beauty in Bloom post, I haven't tried much in the terms of makeup from Clarins, I've always stuck to their skincare but the Clarins Autumn/Winter '16 collection has had me regretting my makeup choices. I had some pieces from the new collection arrive back in July and I've been trying them out ready to give you guys my thoughts on them.
BB Skin Detox Fluid SPF 25 - £30.00
I haven't used a BB cream or fluid since they first burst on to the beauty scene hailed as the next best thing. Yes I liked them but not enough to give up my full coverage foundation but this tube of goodness has completely changed my opinion. For the last couple of months the Skin Detox Fluid has graced my skin and I really love it. The natural coverage fluid gives a light coverage while allowing skin to breathe as well as evening out skin, hydrating and protecting thanks to its added SPF. My skin looks clear, healthy and glowing thanks to this and I've already made a few friends buy it too.
Supra Volume Mascara in Intense Black - £21.50
I'm a plastic comb mascara girl and wouldn't usually look twice at a wand like this but I couldn't help liking it. The mascara intensifies and enhances lashes with the deepest shade of black making your lashes look big, luscious and ready to flutter. The formula contains Cassia flower wax which helps with instant volume and colour while the volume boost complex increases lashes by 17.6% according to studies. I cannot confirm this myself as I use this as well as two others depending on my mood. My only gripe is the smell, it reminds me of nasal allergy sprays but the volume is so fabulous that I suck it up as once dried you can't smell it as strongly.
4-Colour Eye Palette in Nude & Rosewood - £34.00
I love eyeshadow, always have and always will so I was really looking forward to trying out these neutral beauties. I have 01 Nude and 02 Rosewood with four shades in each for multiple looks. Each of the shadows contain sensory mineral textures allowing immediate results for smooth, perfectly blended peepers. There are matte, satin and iridescent shadows in each palette so something to suit everyone. Each of the shadows are long lasting, non creasing and create stunningly sophisticated looks. I also love that each palette comes in a red velvet case, as do most of their products making them extra special.
