Burt's Bees have been around for years providing varied beauty products for us natural beauty fans and with that come the Burt's Bees Lip Crayons available in six beautifully creamy shades to suit everyone. Each of the lip crayons are fragrance free with no added flavour and in most reviews have been described as matte but I fail to see that at all, they couldn't be further from a matte finish if they tried.

I have three of the shades, Carolina Coast, Hawaiian Smoulder and Napa Vineyard. The first two shades are quite similar, dusty pink shades with a cream shine finish and then Napa Vineyard comes and blows them both out of the water with an intense pop of red colour. I can't see how they're all the same formula but apparently they are. The formula is light and easy to wear, I'm not a fan of lip crayons that just sit on your lips but as these are infused with shea butter, jojoba oil and kendi oil, the crayons also care for your lips while wearing a shade to brighten the day.
Carolina Coast has been a firm favourite for me and its precise and easy to use bullet makes for perfect application and no mess. Wear time with the lip crayons is pretty standard for the finish, a couple of hours with food or drink before having to re-apply. If you want something quick to grab while on the go these would be great to just chuck in your bag. If you're looking for something a bit more long wearing then I'd go for Revlon ColorBurst Matte balms, they are mint fragranced but don't let that put you off.
I've liked what I've tried so far and the lightest shade I have has become a bit of a handbag staple for me. The shades all seem pretty standard line available from the majority of brands on the market although I would like to pick up Sedona Sand next seeing as they're all available online.
