I only started using Antipodes last November after attending a blog event, Afternoon Tea with Antipodes in London. I've read numerous rave reviews about the Manuka Honey face mask which I now own, so I was really looking forward to giving my face a treat with the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream. Antipodes are becoming a much loved brand in the UK, they have a range of certified organic and natural skincare products which mostly contain plant extracts and premium avocado oil. The products aren't tested on animals and the ingredients used are really kind to skin.
I desperately needed a new night cream so it was opened as soon as I got it home. The Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream has been scientifically shown to increase collagen production in human cells by up to 92% so I was more than happy coating my face in such a rich feeling moisturiser. The moisturiser smells very natural and I find products like this one incredibly soothing, especially when using before I sleep.
With 100% pure avocado oil, manuka honey, marigold flower and sandalwood, it's packed full of nourishing ingredients to soak into your sink leaving it incredibly soft the following morning. The cream itself is thick, rich and creamy, you really don't need a lot. I thought with it being so thick it wouldn't soak in as well but I've had no problems with it.
I use this before bed after my serum and/or facial oil and it just leaves my skin so soothed and well nourished plus the following morning my skin always looks plump and bright. Antipodes have won a few different awards for this wonder cream and rightly so. It's exactly what I need while the weather is still bitter cold for my dry/combination skin.
Have you tried anything from Antipodes before? What have you tried?
