I hold my hands up and fully admit I'm a makeup snob. I'd much rather buy the real thing than a cheaper dupe but one company I do quite like is Makeup Revolution who are renowned for their dupes. They sent through their Salvation palettes for all the bloggers who attended the Southampton Blog Event and I have Run Boy Run, a purple, neutral mix of twelve shimmers and six mattes.
There are 18 Salvation palettes to choose from, each with 18 shades, a full length mirror and retailing at just £6 which is a complete bargain. Considering how cheap they are, the eyeshadows are really good quality. The pigmentation is so impressive, the shadows last for hours without creasing and I haven't had to use an eyeshadow primer with them.
My only, teeny tiny complaint is that there is quite a bit of fall out but I wouldn't expect anything different from a cheap palette and it's something I'll happily put up with for the sake of £6. After trying this one I also picked up Girls On Film and keep meaning to try What You Waiting For? Can you tell I like my neutral palettes? They're such good palettes for the price especially if you want to play around with some shades you wouldn't usually try.
What is your favourite Makeup Revolution palette? What should I be trying from them next?
