Make Up Revolution Iconic 1 V Urban Decay Naked

Myself and many others are crushing on Make Up Revolution big time at the moment and for good reason too, fabulous quality make up at affordable prices for every pocket?! What's not to love? I did a post last month, First look - Make Up Revolution which included the gorgeous Iconic 1, which as you can tell in the photos, is a dead ringer for another palette that is well loved by many, the original Naked palette by Urban Decay.

The big difference between these two is definitely the price, Naked coming in at £37 and Iconic 1 at just £4. Iconic 1 is quite a bit smaller and perfect for travelling and the eye shades are so similar. The colour and pigmentation is outstanding and they're also really creamy which makes a nice change for lower priced eye shadows. As much as I love my Naked palette, one I reach for daily, I'm glad I now have its cheaper twin to use along side it.

The Iconic 1's version of Virgin, Creep and Gunmetal aren't a patch on the UD palette but you can't really tell the difference between the rest of the shades. I've been wearing both palettes on and off for quite a few weeks now and the staying power on both is really impressive, I've loved using the Make Up Revolution version and will definitely be treating myself to Iconic 2 & 3 too, £8 for both is a complete bargain!

I'd love to know what swatch you think is Urban Decay Naked and which one is Make Up Revolution Iconic 1. Left or Right? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me.
