Topshop Lipstick Inhibition

Back in October I wanted to try a dark plum lipstick in time for a reunion with my best girlfriends from Spain. I thought better of jumping straight in to spending £15 in Mac on one for a change so thanks to a refund I picked this up in the shade Inhibition.

Topshop lipsticks are made alongside Mac's and I personally don't think there is a lot of difference between the two. I only have one Topshop lipstick as my local one doesn't have that great a range but hopefully that changes soon.

Inhibition is a gorgeous deep, plum colour which has been the perfect compliment to the cold, winter nights we've had the last few months. This is in a matte finish which personally I'm a big fan of, it doesn't dry out your lips as much as some may think for a matte lipstick and it lasts a good few hours before needing to reapply even after a few drinks.

It doesn't transfer as dark as it looks in the tube, more a stained, red wine colour. I have quite a pale skin tone and if I don't have some cheek colour it does tend to wash me out a little.

I do love this lipstick and have used this a few times, it's also the lipstick I'm wearing in my little picture on the right hand side of my blog. I can't wait to pick up some more shades to try out in time for the Summer.

Are you a fan of Topshop lipsticks? What should I pick up next?
