Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Audacious

I'm usually a lipstick or lip balm kind of girl and I haven't tried the many lip crayons that have been gracing beauty counters the past year. That was until I walked into Superdrug and saw Revlon's newest range were on offer for just £5.99.

The ColorBurst Balms come in both a Matte and Lacquer finish with 10 shades in each range and contain a triple balm complex of Shea, Coconut and Mango butters. These come in a twist up tube and I love how the packaging matches the shade inside.

I went for Audacious which is warm, coral shade and I can't say no to an coral lip. This shade is so wearable, and has really good pigmentation. For a matte formula, it's creamy and not at all drying on the lip. They also have a subtle mint scent when applied but it doesn't long which I quite liked as some mint scents are overpowering.

I loved how well this applied to my lips in just a few strokes and left a gorgeous burst of colour that lasted a good few hours before having to re apply although this does tend to fade from the center outwards leaving the look of just wearing lip liner especially after eating.

I've been using this for a week or so now and it's been brightening up all the rainy days we've been having. This leaves my lips so moisturised and I already have my eye on Elusive and Showy as I think they're a bit more suitable for work.. now just to wait for pay day!

Have you been using any of Revlon's ColourBurst balms? What shades have you tried?
